hey all!

A little update on how my works are progressing for you all te read! Been very busy with diffrent projects. My clothing is going good, has been on a stand still but my summer holidays have proven good for production on all parts. In the meantime i've been sketching a lot, and laying the hand on my first official tattoo design for the missus, which you can see in my gallery.

Also i have found a new inspirational seed in the arts of tiki and jungle, which i obviously had before, but i will try and exploit it some more now. I also want to try and do more colored pieces, since about everything i have done in the last years(?) have been merely black and white and sketches :P

Anywho; i will be posting up some new stuff soon, and don't be shy to tell me what you think of it! I'm off now!

When did the world start spinning? When did design find a way out of sanity? Well, that would be me. My name's Tristan, and i try the best I can to make pretty things, for the sake of making pretty things, for myself and others.

Currently i'm 22 years old, and studying communication and multimedia design at Avans hogeschool in Breda, the netherlands. It's mostly a computer-aimed study, but in the meantime I manage to make a lot of my artwork by hand. As you can see in my gallery, i'm quite fond of graphics, where lays my expertise. Then again, you're never too old to learn right?

Thank you!! Very sweet of you... :) I'm right now in college, studying to be somewhat of a grapic designer yeah, though most of my work is still done by hand... :)

I'm taking a Graphics Design course, it's really hard since my teacher's have ridiculously high standards... it put my off the idea of a career in it ^^;

Most of your work being done by hand is fine =) You should work however you work best, and if you can produce good things by hand then you're miles ahead of those who rely only on digital media =)

yeah exactly! Everyone has their expertise, and graphic design contains all of em really... :) So just keep on practicing and you'll be fine, with or without the high standards.
Right now i'm studying communication and multimedia design, so it's also a lot of focus on the communicative part. If you go to art school i can imagine you got diffrent standards on diffrent studies...
